A Supreme Evening 2025
The Florida Supreme Court Historical Society’s annual dinner fundraiser, A Supreme Evening 2025, is coming up on January 16, 2025. This event is the historical society’s main fundraiser, which helps to fulfill their mission of preserving the history of Florida’s highest court and supporting education about the court system. A Supreme Evening 2025 will be held at Florida State University’s Dunlap Champions Club in Tallahassee.
“We invite Florida’s legal community to join us for this must-attend event of the new year,” said Historical Society President Fred Karlinsky. “This is not just a celebration; it’s an opportunity to engage with leaders in our field and reflect on the judiciary's vital role in our society.”
The evening will include a "State of the Court" presentation by Chief Justice Carlos G. Muñiz. Justice Jamie R. Grosshans will facilitate this year’s fireside chat with renowned Georgetown Law professor Randy Barnett. And Florida State University Professor Emeritus Charles "Chuck" Ehrhardt will receive the Susan Rosenblatt Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to legal education and scholarship.
